フィリピン留学 #4

お久しぶりです。留学中に風邪をひいたり身体の調子を壊すと大変つらい思いしますので、皆さんも体調管理には十分気をつけてくださいね！

木曜と金曜の二日間に開催されたリサーチコングレスを見に行きました。食事や,医療,情報,文化など多岐にわたる研究の発表で、主にパワーポイントを用います。発表は英語なのですが、ほとんど聞き取れなくてビックリしました。発表などは日常会話に比べてはきはきと話すため、比較的聞き取りやすいのですが、専門用語や知らない単語が多く出てくるため何が何をしたのか、分からないことが多かったです。
日本との違いは、発表者より観衆に大きな違いがあると思いました。質問をする人が比較的多く、積極的だと思いました。

Hello. Please be careful about your physical condition management while studying abroad!

I went to see the research congress last Thursday and Friday. The research were about food,medical,information,culture and so on. They spoke clear English which is easy to listen compare with English for daily conversation. However they used some terminology so I hardly understood.
The difference between Japan and the Philippines is that the frequency of  questions. I mean that Filipino make more question than Japanese. I thought they are very active.
